This policy covers the LinkedIn Filter Pro Chrome extension and this website. In short: we collect what we need to keep your keywords and counts in your account, nothing else, and we never sell it.
What the extension reads on LinkedIn
The extension runs only on linkedin.com and only acts on Jobs pages. On each job card in your search results it reads the job title, company name, location and job id, and compares them with your keywords on your own device.
It does not read your LinkedIn profile, connections, messages, the job descriptions, or your LinkedIn password, and it does not change anything on LinkedIn other than hiding or outlining job cards in your browser.
What we store
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture from the provider you sign in with (Google or Discord).
- Your settings: the keywords you hide. Highlight words and display settings stay in your browser’s Chrome sync storage.
- Activity: how many jobs were hidden per day, and the title, company, location, LinkedIn link and matching keyword of up to 200 recently hidden and 200 recently highlighted jobs, so they appear on your dashboard.
- Purchases: your plan, its expiry date and a payment record. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
On your computer the extension also keeps a history of up to 500 hidden and 500 highlighted jobs in Chrome local storage. You can clear it from the extension at any time.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: keeping your keywords in sync between the extension and the dashboard, enforcing the free-plan limits, showing your history and statistics, and unlocking paid plans. We don’t use it for advertising, we don’t sell or rent it, and we don’t share it with anyone except the processors below.
Who processes it
- Vercel, which hosts this website and its database connection.
- Our database host, where account data is stored.
- Google or Discord, to sign you in.
- Stripe, to take payments.
Your choices
- Clear your hidden or highlighted history from the dashboard or the extension.
- Reset your counters from the dashboard.
- Sign out of the extension at any time; it then stops filtering.
- Ask us to export or delete your account and all its data by emailing support@linkedinfilter.pro. We do it within 30 days.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (and short-lived ones during sign-in). There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
